This June, Hog Roast Malahide was hired to provide catering for Alicia’s upcoming 21st birthday party, which was taking place at a function room close to her family home. For the party, the birthday girl had invited her friends and family to attend, along with hiring a DJ and catering for the occasion. Since the guest list included 80 guests of all ages, the menu needed to be versatile and include something that everyone could enjoy. At Hog Roast Malahide, we have a variety of menus that are ideal for this, including our Gourmet BBQ menu.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Malahide team arrived at the function room with plenty of time to set up our catering station and prepare for the 7:00pm mealtime. We began by grilling the mains, which included juicy British beef burgers, succulent sausages, marinated chicken kebabs, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and BBQ spareribs. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. For the sides, we served sweet potato fries, homemade chips, corn cobettes, crunchy coleslaw, and seasonal salad dishes.
As the guests arrived and settled in, we began to serve our buffet-style menu, allowing everyone to create their ideal meal. Our catering went down a treat and was a great addition to this event! The Hog Roast Malahide team had a lot of fun, and we hope that Alicia did too.
