During this festive period, Hog Roast Baggotrath was contacted by a local family who was in need of catering for their annual family gathering. After having to postpone last years celebrations, they were determined to make this year bigger and better than ever! The event was taking place at the family home, with 35 guests in need of a delicious meal. After discussing the menu options that we can provide, it was decided that our festive menu would be the perfect choice!
On the day of the event, we arrived at the home with plenty of time to prepare for the 17:00 mealtime. We began by preparing the whole-roasted turkeys, which were slow-roasted to ensure that they were packed full of natural juices and flavours. The turkey was served with all of the traditional Christmas trimmings, including roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cauliflower cheese, homemade gravy, and pigs in blankets. This provided a wide selection of delicious dishes for the guests to choose from, with plenty to go around!
We served this menu buffet style on bamboo crockery and cutlery to create the ideal level of formality for the occasion. The Hog Roast Baggotrath team had lots of fun catering for this event and it was great to see the family getting into the festive spirit.
