Valentine’s Day is one of the most well known festive days of the year; anyone who celebrates their birthday on such a day must inevitably feel forgotten or smothered by the commercialised day. But the Hog Roast Donaghmede team was not prepared to allow their clients’ birthday to be swept away on a tidal wave of Valentine’s Day mania, so they put their best foot forwards and planned a very special menu for the party.
The client wanted an intimate party with 20 friends and family members to celebrate their special day. The team at Hog Roast Donaghmede were only too happy to collaborate with the client and create a menu that was to be utterly delightful for all. The guests had no special dietary requirements, so the team and client had an especially easy task when devising the delicious list of dishes to serve, as no vegetarian or vegan substitutions needed to be considered.
The client wanted a hearty buffet for their guests to tuck into, so the team would be providing disposable crockery and cutlery, as well as napkins for the guests to use. Then after the food had been enjoyed the chef would tidy away all the rubbish generated by the guests.
The Chef arrived at the clients’ home at 11am, so that they would have everything ready by the 5pm serving time. The Chef from Hog Roast Donaghmede worked hard to prepare and make every dish fresh on site, these dishes included: a slow roasted pig, complete with apple sauce, stuffing and crispy crackling and more. There were also platters of crusty rolls, tomato and basil salads and lovely, piping hot jacket potatoes. The chef worked hard and managed to have everything prepared by 5pm when the guests helped themselves to the succulent buffet.
The client was thrilled with the service by Hog Roast Donaghmede and for the first time in a long time, they felt that their birthday was not overshadowed by Valentine’s Day. The party was great fun, the team were pleased that the client was satisfied with their work.
