After having twin girls in lockdown, Ella knew she wanted to do something special to celebrate their first birthday. During lockdown, the twins missed out on a lot of fun and socialisation, so it is was important to make up for this as much as possible while they are still young. Ella decided to host a party in the garden of their home, with a bouncy castle, ball pit, and face painting. The guest list included 50 people, including guests of all ages, so it was important that the catering was suitable for the occasion. After a discussion with Hog Roast Cabinteely, she decided on our Gourmet BBQ option, since it included many different dishes to choose from, with something for everyone to enjoy!
On the day of the birthday party, the sun was shining and it was the perfect weather for an outdoor party. We set up our catering station and got to work barbequing the dishes. For the main course, we provided sausages, British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and vegetable and halloumi skewers. Alongside the mains, we prepared seasonal salad dishes, crunchy coleslaw, home style chips, and fresh bread rolls and wraps. This created a versatile menu with many different dishes to choose from, allowing guests to create their perfect meal. Our catering was a great addition to the party and was a hit with guests of all ages!
