BBQs, synonymous with the sun-kissed days of summer, bring a symphony of sizzling flavours and delectable aromas that unite food lovers far and wide. At Hog Roast Kimmage, we hold these moments in high regard, so when the opportunity arose to showcase our tantalising recipes at a nearby Food Festival, we simply couldn’t resist!
Set against the picturesque backdrop of one of Dublin’s beloved greenspaces, our dedicated catering crew arrived with grills at the ready, eager to spread the joy of our glorious grub with locals and tourists alike.
The anticipation was palpable as the Hog Roast Kimmage team hit the ground running, firing up the grills and bringing our mouth watering creations to life. With the promise of hundreds of attendees seeking gastronomic delights, meticulous preparation was key. Our menu was a reflection of the diverse tastes of the crowd, and ensured there was something for everyone.
Catering to burger enthusiasts, our handcrafted beef patties, adorned with melting cheese and tomato slices, were served within gluten-free buns. As well as these, sticky spareribs, chicken kebabs, and our chef’s very own expertly seasoned sausages offered an assortment of textures and flavours to delight the senses. Our menu also featured veggie burgers and veggie sausages as mouth-watering meat-free alternatives for those following vegetarian and vegan diets.
Adding to this exceptional culinary experience, Hog Roast Kimmage prepared our best-loved mixed sweet potato and regular fries, which added a satisfying crunch to every bite, while our delicious gourmet coleslaw and seasonal green leaf salad provided refreshing accompaniments that elevated the overall feast.
As the morning progressed, other vendors started popping up around us, and before long, the park was bustling with people. Attendees gravitated towards the mouth-watering aromas emanating from our grills, and it wasn’t long before a queue formed. With every bite savoured, smiles and nods of approval reverberated through the crowd, a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship that our team poured into each dish.
