Hog Roast Donaghmede – Catering For A Business Training Seminar

Training and development programmes are a vital part of company growth for many businesses, but for the employees, these days spent dedicated to learning new systems, adapting to updates and expanding their skills can be exhausting. Having hosted many of these seminars over the years, and witnessed the enthusiasm drain from the staff time and time again, Ben decided that it was about time he made things a little more interesting for everyone involved! Knowing that good food is something that can pull everyone together and spice up any event, he came up with the idea of treating the 240 attendees to a delicious hog roast, courtesy of Hog Roast Donaghmede.

Hog Roast DonaghmedeWith the corporate function scheduled to roll over two days, Ben was looking for our team to cover both of them with our signature, southern slow roast menu which provided guests with the choice between an irresistible selection of spice-infused meats that are inspired by classic American dishes. For vegetarians and vegans, Ben had also asked us to incorporate a meat-free alternative of grilled veggie skewers and mushroom and haloumi burgers as well as a selection of inclusive side options that everyone would be able to enjoy.

On the first day of the seminar, Hog Roast Donaghmede followed the SatNav to a multi-story, glass building where they began preparing the lunchtime menu while Ben led his employees through the first section of their busy itinerary. By the time the figurative dinner bell chimed, the catering crew had created a lip-smacking spread of BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and cajun spiced whole roast chickens along with the meatless options and side dishes that included creamy mac and cheese, freshly-tossed salads and sweet-potato wedges which went down a storm among the attendees.

In fact, the group loved the buffet that Hog Roast Donaghmede had served so much, that they were excited to return the following day for extra helpings of the tasty feast. After polishing off as many platefuls as possible on the second afternoon, many of the attendees eagerly pocketed one of our business cards for themselves.
