Hog Roast Ballymun may well be renowned for providing scrumptious hog roasts – after all, our signature dish is part of our name – but we also offer so much more to our customers and their guests if needed too. We can cook you a barbecue, with our burgers that are 100% beef, our chef’s gourmet sausages and our tasty ribs, we can slow-roast your choice of meat, like turkey, chicken, beef, pork or lamb or you can even treat your guests to our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which features your choice of three marinated meat dishes and four sides. Whatever kind of party or event that you have in mind, we have plenty of choice and variety to suit everyone.
One thing that Hog Roast Ballymun discovered a long time ago is that variety and choice needs to include options for people who are on special diets, whether they’re self-imposed for personal choice or due to an intolerance or allergy. If you’re inviting guests who are vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, for example, we have a whole host of suitable dishes available and if you have other diets that need catering just let us know and we’ll ensure those guests can enjoy our fresh, wholesome food on the day of your function too. Your wish is our command!
Sometimes, however, our signature hog roast is just the ticket. Hog Roast Ballymun recently catered Patrick’s party at home, where he celebrated his retirement together with more than twenty colleagues and friends. Patrick is a long-term customer of ours who loves a good old hog roast and this special occasion featured a gorgeous beast that we roasted for hours on end before making pigs in buns out of them. Our pigs in buns (you may know them as hog roast rolls) are famous around here and further afield too. To make them, we fill soft bread rolls or wraps with fresh, hot, mouthwatering meat and salty, crispy crackling, together with our own recipe apple sauce and our homemade sage and onion stuffing.
