At Hog Roast Glasnevin we of course typically talk a big game about our roast mains. For most events guests typically want at least the starter and mains, but the dessert is often left as a forgotten option, or even an optional choice for guests. So for that reason we tend to put most of our stock on the foods that guests are going to be eating. Our fresh soup starters, our lighter canapes bites, our delicious salmon and duck starters, as well as our main namesake hog roasts, beef roasts, lamb roasts, roast sides of herb dressed or baby new potatoes, fresh salads, seasonal vegetables, grilled burgers and sausages, skewers, ribs, BBQ jackfruit alternatives, and whatever else can fill out our incredible buffets and set course menus.
But of course when it comes to the dessert our guests can take it or leave. They’ve filled up on all of the aforementioned foods, so of course there is no room left for our desserts to shine. Since it is autumn we thought it might be time to highlight our desserts and show guests what they are potentially missing out on in not taking our dessert options. Autumn is, after all, when treats are supposed to come aplenty in October, and the lead in to the Christmas period also has us all thinking about plenty of sugary and sweet treats, so why not enjoy yours with Hog Roast Glasnevin at events now!
Everyone has their preferences when it comes to desserts, and so Hog Roast Glasnevin has options to satisfy every kind of sweet tooth. For the chocolate lovers out there might we recommend our chocolate torte, our creamy and chocolatey profiteroles, or of course the best of all desserts, our sticky toffee pudding. For the lighter, fruitier tastes we have tarte au citron, fresh fruit salads, and strawberries with a melee` f passion fruit and mascarpone on a fluffy meringue. And of course when it comes to dessert you can never go wrong with a bit of classic cheesecake, ours made in handmade individual portions with plenty of crunch and cream.
So, what will be your sweet treat this autumn at Hog Roast Glasnevin?
